Frequently Asked Questions

Working with me

  • I’m based in Surprise, Arizona—but everything I offer is available virtually.

Whether you’re local or across the country, you can read the blog, join the newsletter, and use my tools from wherever you are.

Support doesn’t have to be in the same room to be real.

  • Not at the moment. Right now, I’m focused on group offerings, writing, and building resources that support more people at once.

That said—you’re not on your own.

  • Absolutely. My work is rooted in lived experience, but the things we talk about—boundaries, self-trust, and navigating life when it feels off—are universal.

If you connect with my voice, you’re in the right place.

Mi casa es tu casa. 🫶 Come as you are.

  • No—this isn’t therapy. I’m a trauma-informed life coach and writer, not a licensed therapist.

What I do offer is space to reflect, practical tools, and honest perspective to help you navigate real-life challenges.

If you’re in crisis or need clinical mental health support, I encourage you to connect with a licensed provider who can give you the care you deserve.

  • A licensed therapist is trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions, often working through past experiences, trauma, and clinical concerns.

A life coach (yours truly) is future-focused. I help you gain clarity, build self-trust, and take aligned action in your life.

    I create a supportive space—but I don’t provide therapy or clinical care.

✨ Think of it this way: Therapy helps you heal the wound. Coaching helps you build the muscle.

  • Yes—I’m available for speaking engagements, group coaching, veteran/ERG panels, and retreats.

If you’re looking for real, relatable conversations around boundaries, burnout, and building a life that actually feels aligned, I’d love to be part of it.

Real-Life Questions I Get All the Time

These are the questions that come up when life feels off, overwhelming, or just not quite right—and where we start finding real answers.

  • Feeling off while everything looks “fine” on paper is often a sign of misalignment—not failure. You might be meeting expectations, checking boxes, and still feeling disconnected from what actually matters to you. That feeling is usually your cue to pause, reflect, and realign with what feels right for your life.

  • Overthinking doesn’t get solved by thinking more—it shifts through action. Start by limiting how long you sit in a decision, take one small step forward, and remind yourself that clarity comes from doing, not over-analyzing.

  • Setting boundaries without guilt starts with recognizing that protecting your time and energy isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. You don’t need to over-explain your “no” or justify your decisions. Start small, stay consistent, and trust that the right people will respect your boundaries.

  • Living an aligned life means making decisions that reflect your values, your needs, and who you actually are—not who you think you “should” be. It’s less about perfection and more about feeling grounded and confident in the life you’re building.

  • Feeling stuck often means you’re caught between where you are and where you think you “should” be. It’s not a lack of effort—it’s usually uncertainty or misalignment. Progress starts with small, intentional steps, not perfect clarity.

  • Rebuilding self-trust starts with keeping small promises to yourself. Follow through on what you say you’ll do, even in simple ways. Over time, those actions build confidence and help you trust your own decisions again.

  • The most helpful personal growth content is honest, practical, and grounded in real life—not perfection. Look for resources that help you reflect, reset, and move forward in a way that actually feels doable.
